Bunjil, the Eagle Hawk, is the creator spirit of the Wurundjeri people. “The ‘Many Koorie’ people believe that Bunjil made the mountains and rivers; it was he that created the men and the animals and taught them to behave”. His statue has been placed at the corner of Docklands.
